One of the last things we came to do on the island before we fly off tomorrow is to visit this beach. A nice and relaxing way to end the day, dip in the sea and play in the sand. An obvious added benefit was the EarthCache right next to a traditional cache, both within a few meters of each other. Happy for the double find here, and some nice rec time on the beach!

    Goodbye Langkawi!

We couldn’t spend a holiday on Langkawi without going to the second biggest town on the island, and so today we dedicated to a visit here. We started off with the freedom square, a nice little place with interesting statutes and a nice boardwalk.

After a grab car picked up our friends from the previous beach, Laura and I got showered and headed for one last stop tonight, which is this beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately today not much water was flowing, but it was still a nice sight to behold to see the Langkawi waterfall.

Visiting this archived earthcache really reminded us of our trip to Australia, where we visited the world's very first earthcache. Nice place!
