Dropped Off 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys placed it in SW4 George L. Smith State Park Georgia - 28.91 miles  Visit Log

Dropping off this trackable here at George L. Smith State Park as we have concluded our Spring Break Camping State Park GeoTour Road Trip here. We've actually visited this Park before but the Geocache was disabled at the time. Since we were passing nearby on our way home, we decided to stop to get the smiley!

Stats from trip:

New National Parks visited-2

New GA State Parks 15 total
--All Lakes Region (not counting ones twice that are both State and History)
--Mountain Region-3
--Plains Region-2

New GA History State Parks 5

Revisited One previous State Park

Geocache Total 61 finds:
A-15
M-13
N-12
B-12

Cached with FlintNSteel, GingerNinjaDZP, and Beddy9199.

All done in 9 days during our Spring Break Camping State Park GeoTour Road Trip. Spent only $6 on camping as rest was dispersed camping style. We are all ready for hot refreshing showers and comfy beds with a full night of sleep.

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to Welcome to Wadley Georgia - 30.72 miles  Visit Log

Just a quick visit here to get a different county in case we ever do GA counties. We weren't able to sign log because it is in pieces but found cache easily as it was in the wide open.

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to LK5 Hamburg State Park Georgia - 15.31 miles  Visit Log

We visited the Grist Mill on this waypoint mystery geocache! Volunteers were very helpful.

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to Welcome Chamber Georgia - 22.83 miles  Visit Log

Heading to Hamburg State Park and not that we are doing a Georgia County Challenge but felt obligated to stop anyways. Yes tricky and took us four a bit to find but one fellow geocacher's comments helped us when we were about to give up!

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to LK7 Mistletoe State Park Georgia - 14.85 miles  Visit Log

We headed here after Elijah Clark State Park. As we hiked along the cushiony bed of pine needles leading us along the trail closer to our search for the cache, we noticed how the pine needles could be slippery in some spots...maybe that's just because my legs are getting tired 😅.

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to Starting of a Swell Cache Georgia - .19 miles  Visit Log

Fourth and final cache at Elijah Clark State Park and this one was also on the three mile hike. Enjoyed the scenery of Clarks Hill/Thurmond Lake as we were hiking.

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to A Dipping Log Run Georgia - .46 miles  Visit Log

A nice hike on the three mile trail to get this cache at Elijah Clark State Park.

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to Georgia Geo-Campers visit Elijah Clark Georgia - .28 miles  Visit Log

We visited this cache by the Georgia Geo-Campers as we enjoyed camping with them one weekend.

Visited 4/2/2022 ExploringEddys took it to LK3 Elijah Clark State Park Georgia - 19.94 miles  Visit Log

After a night of howling coyotes camping last night in South Carolina, we are here at Elijah Clark State Park to finish our last day of Spring Break on our GeoTour. We had fun taking photos with the Elsa mask in this cache.

Visited 4/1/2022 ExploringEddys took it to SF Sherard & Sons (Travel Bug Motel) South Carolina - 10.86 miles  Visit Log

Not sure if this trackable has been in South Carolina but this was our first cache in South Carolina as we didn't have the geocaching bug in us before when we lived in the East. Now that we are back we are ready to hit some of these states geocaching. Very interesting display and yes we found Signal! We are hunting for a campsite for the night after hitting two GA state parks and one Historical Park today.
