We here at Team Screamapillar [chief among them your rotten daughter Christine] think you don't get out enough! We have taken you on some excellent adventures and vacations.You've been to Arizona, Utah, Key West, Niagara Falls, Canada and Sweden! You were even eaten by a puppy and then cloned by the geniuses at Clonaid! Add to that the fact that today is your 38th wedding anniversary with good ole Bart over there, we thought there would be no better way than to celebrate your marital bliss than to send you off as a Travel Bug. Yell 'goddammit Bart' and put that tag on! Hit the road!

We know she's sometimes kind of grumpy, so here are instructions for finders of Grandma to help ensure she has a fun time as a Travel Bug.

1. Please let her play your Nintendo. Grandma LOVES her some Nintendo!

2. Grandma smokes, so keep her away from cigarettes. She needs a more healthy lifestyle, don'tcha know.

3. Humor her. She's a cranky old bag, but she's got a heart of gold.

4. If you repeatedly press the top of Grandma's head, she'll kick her leg. When someone makes you mad, chase them with Grandma kicking and she can yell at them. It's lots of fun.

5. Please Take Pictures of Grandma! The fun of Grandma's Adventures webpage is that Grandma gets to go to some wacky places. Email presidentkang2004@gmail.com with your Grandma pictures You can post them here on the Travel Bug watch site too.

6. update 1/2004: Team Wutzebear made a quilt for Grandma. If you retrieve her, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE QUILT! I'd like to make sure they stay together. You can give Grandma gifts -- just make sure she's in a bag, with her gifts, as you pass her along! Feel free to secure the gifts to her if you feel it necessary.

7. update 9/2005: Grandma recently suffered a second chewing by a dog. Back in the day, Jack Puppy ATE grandma and left her horribly malformed but thanks to the efforts of Clonaid she was rebuilt (see her webpage for details at http://www.amusings.net/grandma/obituary.htm). Being eaten TWICE by dogs has really made Grandma dog-phobic. Please keep her away from chewy canines. Thank you.

Grandma would like to make it cross country and back. Can you help her? I bet you can. Please don't lose her, she's near and dear to Team Screamapillar.

We had to get rid of Grandma. We had a great time together, but after we got TB Stinky there was every night a big noise in our house. Stinky, the little criminal, searched every room in our house for money, gold etc. and Grandma was chasing him the whole night, so that we could not get much sleep for the last few nights.So i brought Grandma today to a cache which is called: Scoubidoucache. We made some knitting ware for her and gave her a torch, so she can make some socks or pullover or what ever, even it is dark in the cache. My second daughter an i made a trip to a landscape near our home which is called "Wetterau" to find some caches. Together we found three caches. First was Schloss Naumburg, second was Kloster Engelthal and the last one was Lilienwald, where we found the TB Stinky which is a little criminal Monster. Grandma started immediately yelling at him after he searched our knapsack and tried to steal some goodies.

Grandma came with us to find the cache "Landgrafschaft Hessen-Homburg I", which is located in a park in the City of Bad Homburg near Frankfurt.

Today i took grandma with me for a short motorbike-ride. I was looking for a Cache which is called N50° E 9°, because it is hidden near an a confluenzpoint. We did find both, the confluenzpoint and the cash. I wanted grandma to stay at this cache, but she begged me to take her back home again because of the noise on the highway. The cache is hidden only a few meters away from that highway. So i took her back with me. Pappa Bär

Today we rescued Grandma from Lohrberg Cache. We could hear her screaming: let me out, it is so boring in here. So we took her with us, to show her our home. The first thing she did was to taste some of Hessens famous drink: Äppelwoi. Then she visited 2 of her grandchildren. Then she discovered our Nintendo. After we told her, that we are to exhausted to play some games, she fell in love with our friend from Maroc and decided to make a long trip with him and his donkey. When Grandma is back, we'll find a new place for her to go. Pappa Bär

Leider konnten wir an der angedeuteten Boot-Tour nicht teilnehmen. Daher habe ich Grandma heute im Cache "Kleinen Salzkopfrunde" abgesetzt. Es hat uns gefreut, sie bei uns für einige Zeit aufnehmen zu können. Jetzt wünschen wir ihr alles Gute für die weitere Reise! :-) tobsas Unfortunately we couldn't attend the mentioned boat trip. So when I revisited the cache "Kleine Salzkopfrunde" again today, Grandma was willing to stay there to wait for the next geocachers. "But they should be here soon! Damnit! What do you geocachers have with boxes in the woods?" As a matter of fact, she knows the way to the "Lauschhütte", a restaurant where you park your car for this cache, so I think she will be ok and eat some of the famous Schnitzels there while waiting...
