Midway Cafe

Found on a wonderful fall day. We almost got locked into the parking lot by the dam maintanance workers as they were leaving. Made the find with no problems. Who had been to the cache ahead of us this fine day? The log was filled out but there was no signature. We surmised that it must have been BB Wolf and crew based on the cool signature item left behind. Headed back to the parking area by the trail. Did take us quite awhile as the trail was washed out and we had to go through the underbrush and over flooded areas. I'm glad that the youngest of the Midway Cafe crew stayed home, the cast on her ankle would have been a real problem for the 2nd half of this ramble.

Found this on a beautiful fall day. We would have found it on a previous search but somehow the stash area was skipped over. Took a regular quarter, left a shrunken quarter.

I was in town this morning for the street painting festival and decided to give this cache a shot. It was a beautiful fall afternoon and I think that the entire J&W student body was in the area. With all the action I decided to pass on the final and give it a try another time.

Cache has been placed. If you are hunting it based on this TB you will go around and around.

Second cache of the evening in the same park. Definitely worth a visit after some rain and the falls can be spectacular in the spring as the snow melts. Darkness arrived while we were on the trail and many toads moved out for their evening adventures. From here it was on to Powder Mill Icecream Parlor for an after caching treat.
