Where I Go in Goulburn 057
The grand finale of this leg at Where I Go in Goulburn 057! There’s a real sense of accomplishment in finishing a sequence like this. I arrived at the final GZ with a flourish, feeling like I’d just completed a marathon (albeit one with a lot of driving and very little running). This last cache was a perfect sign-off—clean, accessible, and exactly where it needed to be. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the 'Where I Go' experience today; it’s been a fantastic way to engage with the landscape and rack up some serious smileys. A huge thank you to the CO for the massive amount of work involved!

Where I Go in Goulburn 054
Skipping ahead to Where I Go in Goulburn 054, and the adventure shows no signs of losing steam. This hide was a little more elusive than the last few, requiring a second pass of the GZ before I spotted the tell-tale signs of human interference. It’s good to have a bit of a challenge to keep the senses sharp! I’m still impressed by the variety of locations this series uses, even when staying within the same general area. It’s a great tour of the Goulburn outskirts. Found it, signed it, and felt that familiar rush of success. Let's see what else is hiding out here!

Barber's Creek Viaduct
Visiting the Barber's Creek Viaduct was a brilliant change of pace. After a day of roadside hunts, standing before this massive feat of engineering was truly awe-inspiring. It’s a reminder of a time when 'infrastructure' meant giant blocks of stone and incredible manual labor, rather than just 5G towers. Hunting for the cache in the shadow of such a structure adds a real sense of scale to the game. I found the container tucked away, respecting the historical gravity of the site while still providing that classic geocaching thrill. It’s a stunning location that I’m glad this hobby brought me to. A definite favorite for the day!

L. K. A. Tallong
I stopped by 'L. K. A. Tallong' and found myself charmed by the quiet, understated beauty of the area. This cache is a perfect example of why I love regional caching; it takes you to the little spots that tell the story of a town without shouting about it. The hide was clever and well-integrated, requiring a bit of a keen eye to spot among the natural surroundings. I spent a few minutes just enjoying the peace and quiet—a rare commodity during a high-speed caching run. Logbook was signed, the container was tucked back into its hidey-hole, and I left feeling a little more connected to Tallong. Thanks for the find!

Raining Caches RMB I - It's Raining Caches 2025
I’m currently caught in the downpour of Raining Caches RMB I - It's Raining Caches 2025, and I must say, I don't even need an umbrella for this kind of weather. Being part of the 2025 event cycle is a blast, and this particular cache captures the fun and community spirit of the whole 'Raining Caches' concept perfectly. I managed to make the find during a brief window of 'clear skies' (or at least when no other cachers were hovering over the GZ). It’s a well-maintained hide that serves as a great souvenir for the event. Thanks to the organizers for making it rain smileys across the region!

The Disappearing Sculpture
I arrived at The Disappearing Sculpture and immediately began a game of 'Now You See Me, Now You Don't.' It’s a brilliant concept for a cache—playing with the idea of visibility and art in a way that perfectly mirrors our own hobby of finding things that are hidden in plain sight. I spent a good few minutes circling the area, trying to figure out the trick, and when the 'aha!' moment finally arrived, it was incredibly satisfying. It’s easily one of the most creative spots I’ve visited today. A clever hide that demands you look at the world a little differently. Loved it!

HSIE
School might be out, but HSIE was still in session today! For those not in the know, Human Society and Its Environment is a broad subject, but luckily the 'environment' part of this cache was very manageable. I felt like I was back in a geography lesson, only this time the field trip resulted in a physical prize rather than a homework assignment. The hide was smart and required a bit of 'social' investigation of the local landscape. It’s a fun, educational-themed find that reminded me that we’re always learning—even when we’re just poking around in the bushes for plastic. Class dismissed!

Moss Vale NOITATS OWT
This trackable is currently feeling a bit "backwards," much like the name of this cache. I spent a good five minutes trying to pronounce Moss Vale NOITATS OWT before realizing it was just a reflection of my own confusion. The trackable enjoyed the platform views, though it’s still waiting for a train that travels in reverse to match the theme. Moving along before I start typing my logs backwards too.
