CAPA
We stopped by CAPA, and I must say, the trackable was expecting a bit more "superhero" and a little less "cleverly hidden container." It’s a good thing I brought my own powers of observation, or we’d still be staring at the scenery. This little traveller is now officially "capped" off with excitement and ready for the next adventure. No cap.
CAPA = Creative and Performing Arts.

Peter Gunn
Taking a trackable to Peter Gunn felt like being in a 1950s detective noir. I half-expected a jazz flute solo to break out the moment I cracked the lid. The trackable didn't find any private investigators, but it did enjoy the suave atmosphere of the find. We’ve hummed the theme song and are now making a smooth getaway to the next coordinates.

Shirley's got a SCREW loose
I brought the trackable here to help poor Shirley, but after finding Shirley's got a SCREW loose, I think it’s contagious. The trackable and I spent a significant amount of time debating the structural integrity of the situation. It’s a "tight" spot for a cache, but we managed to bolt before things got too twisted. Onward to somewhere slightly more stable!

EWT #9 Jensen's Lane
Cruising down EWT #9 Jensen's Lane, the trackable mentioned it was enjoying the "EWT-opia" of this series. It’s a lovely stretch of road, though the trackable is getting a bit of a big head thinking every lane we pass is named after its own personal greatness. We did the paperwork, took in the fresh air, and kept the wheels turning.

The Log Cabin
The trackable was disappointed to find that The Log Cabin didn't actually offer room service or a fireplace, but it did appreciate the rustic charm. It’s the ultimate meta-experience: a trackable in a log book inside a log cabin. We’ve checked out of this wooden wonder and are headed back into the wild, hopefully toward more five-star accommodations.

The Shrine
A moment of silence at The Shrine

Visiting The Shrine today felt appropriately cinematic. I half-expected an ancient guardian to demand a riddle or a small sacrifice of trail mix before allowing me to log this trackable. Instead, I just got some curious looks from a local magpie. I’ve left this little traveller here to contemplate the sacred silence—or at least stay dry until the next pilgrim wanders by.

Mary MacKillop - Penrose Park
At Mary MacKillop - Penrose Park, I found myself wondering if trackables count as 'relics' in the geocaching world. There’s a certain irony in bringing a piece of plastic to a place of such profound history and peace. I sat for a moment, let the trackable soak up some serenity, and prayed that the next person to find it has better GPS reception than I did under these trees.

EWT #8 Saddest park in the village
They weren't kidding about EWT #8 Saddest park in the village. I walked in feeling like a million bucks and left wanting to write a country song about a lost dog and a broken swing set. This trackable was starting to look depressed in my pocket, so I’ve liberated it here to boost the local morale. If you find it, give it a pep talk; it’s seen some things.

SideTracked – Exeter
Another day, another SideTracked – Exeter mission. I have a theory that geocachers spend more time standing on train platforms not catching trains than actual commuters do. This trackable and I watched three expresses whistle past while we poked around the ironwork. It’s now waiting for its own departure—hopefully on a route that involves fewer platform announcements and more snacks.

Welcome to Exeter – SW
The 'Welcome' at Welcome to Exeter – SW was remarkably polite, though the trackable seemed disappointed there wasn't a red carpet or at least a brass band. It’s a lovely spot to transition from 'traveling' to 'searching.' I’ve tucked our little friend away in a spot where it can greet the next visitor with the same silent, plastic enthusiasm I felt upon arrival
