Winding your way down country roads, looking for geocaches?
Leaving home, you might feel light in your head and by the end of the day you may be dead on your feet (5/16/15 – when I found 13 different D/T combinations without even trying!)
Well, another crazy day of caching (seems to be April 24th for me – the day this was actually placed – and the day I have more finds than any other day) leads to a crazy night.
You decide to go look for the closest night cache to this one and you'll search the night away
Trying to avenge a DNF, then it is important to start over and forget about ev'rything you’ve tried before.
Driving through Kellner, a caching desert makes you feel so cold?
In the summer time, when the tourists are here it's got so many people, but it's got no caching soul
Working on one of my puzzle caches, and it's taken you so long
You still can’t find out you were wrong?
Don’t you hate it when a cache says it has travel bugs, but when you make the find it doesn’t, and you thought it held them?
A cache says it’s a D1 and you think that it will be so easy
The description says that it will be so easy
But you're tryin', you're tryin' now…and it’s not there?
Maybe find another cache and then you'd be happy
Just one more cache and then you'd be happy
But you're cryin', you're cryin' now
Way down the street there's a cache at this place
You open the car door, see the cache, and you have that look on his face
Then, you get home and someone asks you where you've been
You tell them the cache you've seen
And you talk about anything else you saw along the way, but their reaction is “Meh”.
You see, she's a muggle with this dream about buying some land
We'll give up the caching and the one-night searches
And then we'll settle down
In some quiet little town like Bonanza, Oregon!
And forget about ev'rything in Wisconsin.
But you know you'll always keep caching because you can just take a stroll!
You know you’re never gonna stop caching because you need to get up off of that couch
'Cause you’re searchin', you're searchin’ sticks and stones
When you wake up, and there’s a new cache! (Maybe it’s your first FTF?)
The sun is shinin', and there's a new cache!
You're goin', you're goin' to find it!
And with the FTF you’re so happy you break into an epic saxophone solo!
And then the question is: Where are you?
