"Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing)" is often refrred to as the definitive anthem of the Big Band Era. Originally written by Louis Prima in 1926, Benny Goodman took this composition under his wing to a recording studio in Hollywood in 1937. The pinnacle moment for Benny Goodman was in 1938, when he took this song live with his Big Band. This 12-minute live version was credited with legitimizing jazz as "serious" music.

This track is iconic for Gene Krupa's extended, "tribal" drum solos, which transformed the drums from a background instrument into a lead solo voice in popular music.
