Pat Metheny is one of the world's most promininet jazz guitarists (and one of Jazzhiker's favorite) known for progressive, contemorary, fusion and Latin jazz. Pat Metheny has recorded over 50 studio albums and has won over 20 Grammy Awards. 

"Third Wind" is a high-energy instrumental track known for its complex rhythms and a prominent "quicksilver" lightning guitar break. Many guitarists and critics consider the 4-measure solo break at the beginning of the improvisation to be one of Metheny's most iconic phrases.
