Shrieking for Freedom

“It is said the eagle was used as a national emblem because, at one of the first battles of the Revolution (which occurred early in the morning) the noise of the struggle awoke the sleeping eagles on the heights and they flew from their nests and circled about over the heads of the fighting men, all the while giving vent to their raucous cries. This eagle would like to travel to locations of historic significance from the time of the American Revolution or caches near them. Spots like Independence Hall, Valley Forge, Mount Vernon, or Betsy Ross’s house are where he’d like to soar. Pictures of his travels are always welcome.

Since he is an eagle, let’s try to keep him soaring.
