While it may appear to be gathering dust in my "Book O' Coins," this Geocoin is "dipped" into every cache I visit to track my travels while Geocaching. Check out the map!
I spent 22+ years in active service in the United States Air Force. I spent my first four and a half years in the enlisted corp before receiving an Honorable Discharge and returning to school. After graduating from college, I returned as an officer and spent the next 17+ years in a variety of assignments in the states and overseas. I traveled a lot to areas that today have a lot of Geocaches. Unfortunately access to GPS data wasn't available until May 2000 and I retired from the Air Force in 1998. I've made up for it when I can. I was stationed in Japan from 1973 to 1975. When we visited my son, a Marine stationed in Iwakuni, Japan in 2011, I grabbed some smilies. I doubt I'll ever get back to Saudi Arabia and Korea to cache, but Europe is on my bucket list. I have found a cache in every town in the U.S. I was stationed in with two exceptions - San Antonio, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. Aha! Road trip!
