The New Mexico Challenge - Hidalgo County Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Racer57: I visited the site in November and thought I had archived it then.

The site started out as a very rural area and now has several establishments. Progress killed this cache.

Geocache Description:

Hidalgo County

This cache is part of the New Mexico Challenge. One cache is hidden in each of New Mexico's 33 counties.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it is to find and log all 33 caches with a photo of yourself at the cache site.

The cache is an ammo can. Along with a log sheet and a pencil, some of the original contents are playing cards, a wallet, bouncy balls, and a lanyard. There is also a NM Keychain for the FTF and a hand-embrodered geocaching tea towel for the second to find.

You can park within 100 feet of the cache, but you may have to bushwack the last ten feet.
