Geocache Description:

This is a night cache.

This park is in the development stage. We have been granted permission to hide caches within.

47° 38.130 / 122° 50.333

The above coordinates will get you to this place to park. At this time there is limited parking. Please take care when leaving. Sight to and around the corner is very restricted. If you can, you might want to try parking by backing in. With its 34 acres of surrounding woodlands, streams, and salt marsh, the area known as Nick's Lagoon forms a complete ecosystem, providing habitat for some of the region’s most sensitive salmon species. The community approached Trust for Public Land (TPL) to help prevent this area from being developed into residential subdivisions. The Kitsap County Parks and Recreation Department acquired the property, which will be used as a park and environmental education site. If you would like to learn more check out Seabeck Bay: Nick's Lagoon

This is a night cache so use your GPS to find the parking coordinates then turn if off and turn on a good working LED flashlight/or other light emitting device as you see fit. Follow the glints to find the cache.
The hunt starts with a single glint. Follow the glints and watch for arrows to tell the way. The hunt ends when you come to the cross of glints.
The glints used are Stealth Fire Tacks® which are virtually invisible in daylight. They are also DIFFICULT to see with a normal incandescent flashlight! If you don't have an LED spotlight, you are going to have a hard time with these. The trick is to hold the flashlight at eye level.
CAUTION:
There are a couple of places where you have to go over little creeks, the trail may be soggy, and the cache location is surrounded by Stinging Nettles. If you touch them just find some water and rinse off well. .
