    Tasmanian Arch Sea Cave Roof
Nature is the best architect. Standing "on top" of such a massive geological feature is a unique experience. It’s a nice spot to stretch the legs and grab a photo or two. Trackables enjoyed the sea breeze.

Visited 3/5/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Thar She Blows Tasmania, Australia - 1.88 miles  Visit Log

    Thar She Blows
Kept a keen eye on the horizon here, though the blowhole didn’t provide much entertainment considering it was quite windy here. The coastal walk is beautiful, and the earthcache was a quick find. Trackables are getting quite a tour of the coast!

Visited 3/5/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Pirates Bay Tasmania, Australia - 585.66 miles  Visit Log

    Pirates Bay
A classic Tassie view. The curve of the bay and the sand make for a perfect backdrop. The cache was found in great condition, and the trackables took in the ocean air before we headed toward the next geological wonder.

Visited 3/5/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Walking on Nature's tiled pavement Tasmania, Australia - 10.29 miles  Visit Log

    Walking on Natures Tiled Pavement
The Tessellated Pavement never ceases to amaze. It looks so intentional, yet it’s all natural. The trackables got to "walk the tiles" with me as I marvelled at the geometric patterns in the rock. Some pavement tiles were 50 cm x 50cm and some were 20cm x 50cm. Another great EarthCache for the books.

Visited 3/5/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to East Bay Tasmania, Australia - 5.37 miles  Visit Log

South from ‘Marion Bay’ we found a cache called East Bay. A lovely, quiet spot compared to some of the busier tourist hubs. It was nice to have a moment of solitude by the water. Trackables are holding up well on this marathon run.

Visited 3/5/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to ❤️ Gotta love Geocaching! ❤️ Tasmania, Australia - 17.78 miles  Visit Log

Over to Marion Bay for some AdventureLabs. We found this cache ❤️ Gotta love Geocaching! ❤️ while here. The name says it all! This has been an incredible run through some of the best scenery Tasmania has to offer. Found the container quickly and signed the log with a smile. Trackables will be seeing a lot today.

Visited 3/5/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to rocks rocks (COME ON) Tasmania, Australia - .02 miles  Visit Log

The name rocks rocks (COME ON) is a bit of a spoiler, but even then, I wasn't quite prepared for the sheer volume of... well, rocks. It’s a geological party and everyone’s invited, provided they enjoy looking at things that have been sitting still for a million years. I found myself whispering 'Come on' to the GPS as I narrowed down the GZ, feeling like a very confused archaeologist. Eventually, the right rock revealed its secret, proving that persistence (and a bit of rock-flipping) pays off. It’s a rugged little spot that makes you work for the smiley, and I enjoyed every crunchy step of the way. Found it!

Visited 3/5/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Midway Point Erosion Tasmania, Australia - 567.11 miles  Visit Log

    Welcome to Tasmania

Heading off on a road trip down onto the Tasma Peninsula. Before we go a stop at the Earthcache Midway Point Erosion is the first stop.

Visited 2/20/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to The Goulburn Post Office New South Wales, Australia - 39.87 miles  Visit Log

    The Goulburn Post Office
Finding The Goulburn Post Office at 2:00 am is a surreal experience that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys urban solitude and the faint feeling that they’re in a noir film. The streets were empty, the air was nice, and this magnificent building looked incredibly imposing under the streetlights. There’s something special about doing a Virtual at that hour; you don’t have to worry about muggles, though you do have to worry about looking like a very confused cat burglar to any passing patrol cars. I gathered the required info while the rest of the town dreamt of stamps and parcels. A midnight victory in the heart of Goulburn! TFTV!

Visited 2/18/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to A Jigidi for ... Bargo New South Wales, Australia - 29.91 miles  Visit Log

I approached A Jigidi for ... Bargo with the weary eyes of a person who has spent far too many hours staring at digital cardboard shards. There is a specific type of madness that sets in around piece number eighty-four, where every sky-blue pixel starts looking like a personal insult. However, the satisfaction of that final click and the emergence of the coordinates made the mental gymnastics entirely worth it. Arriving at the physical location felt like a victory lap. I found the container tucked away exactly where the puzzle promised it would be, proving once again that my brain is still functional (mostly). A great mystery solved and another smiley for the map.
