Geo Scouts - Tiger Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

76-CJ7: The Geo-Scout series is almost four years old.
Although this cache still gets found from time to time the rest of the series does not.

Some of the caches will remain as stand along.
I will post the "code" (actually the date our son made that rank) on the cache page in case it is needed.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Trails

Geocache Description:

Easy access down a new Fire Road then as you approach the open area, I would suggest go straight through to the woods on the other side and bushwach to the cache.

The open area tends to be very wet and there is no need to disturb the vegetation.

THE SERIES
Our family has been involved in Scouting since 1997. This series is a mix of Scouting and Caching.
You MUST earn each rank in order, so that is why all of the other caches in the series will be Mystery caches.
The series will be open to all Premier Members only. This will reflect the “Dues” the Scouts contribute to the program.
You will need to gather the "Advancement Clue" in the cache to help solve the next one and so on.
Look inside the cover for the Advancement Clue.
As you progress, just like in scouting, the ranks will get more involved to earn.
We will not be focusing on all of the BSA requirements for the caches, BUT we will be focusing on some of them to "EARN" your GEO-RANK.

REQUIREMENTS for BSA TIGER
For this Rank we will focus on the Motto for Tiger Scouts, which is “Search, Discover and Explore”.
The current motto is "Search, Discover and Share" but we will be using the one from when we were involved in it.
Typically this Rank is for all First Grade Age Boys.
The requirements for this rank have changed since the time we were involved.
They weren’t an official “Den” like the other Cub Scout Ranks. I am glad that this has changed.

If you would like any further information on Scouting please visit the National Scouting Site or e-mail 76-CJ7 "Your Cubmaster".

GEO-SCOUT REQUIREMENTS
