About This Item

This bug will follow me on my cache finds. I have retired my first Personal Travel Bug RWW - The First 1000 Finds because it takes so darn long for it to load with all the cache logs attached. It had logged over 16959 miles following me from Cache to Cache.

Found with the Cache Machine. There appears to be an event going on at the grange as we stopped in. Plenty of room in the parking lot though.

I had a previous engagement this morning so I did not get a chance to join the cache machine this morning. I did however get to join in a bit late, so I looked at the schedule to determine where I might meet someone caching.

As I arrived at the cache location, I spied MR Weinerdog already on site looking for the final. Both of us looked for some time before "The 4 grays" showed up and joined us in the hunt. We had to back up and re-asses where the cache might be... since we were getting no-where. That did the trick. The cache was spotted, we signed the log and off to the next one.

A nice walk along what remains of the dikes protecting Spencer Island from the waters of the Snohomish River. It's less than a mile from parking to the cache.

Third cache of the day. Unfortunatly I get a very late start and decided after this one that I didn't have time to finish off the other two caches further up the trail and still get back to the truck before dark. I'll be back later for the rest!

The Washington Geocoin is still in the Cache.

Second of three today on the trail. Great place that I didn't know about even though I only live a few miles away.

I got a late start today, so I didn't get to finish the entire trail. I did however run into MostlyLost as they were at this cache. I hope you folks enjoy Geocaching. It can be a blast (and addicting!).

Yep.... we made it. I even brought my non-geocaching wife, and I think she even had fun. Thanks Lucy&Ricky for putting this on! You always throw the best bashes.

The cache is located just a short walk along the dike along SteamBoat Slough. No boats or special equipment are needed for this one. The cache is on a small undeveloped piece of county property. You are looking for a 30 cal ammo box.

I can tell I'm going to have to come back and do some more exploring of these back roads. I didn't realize they went so far back. I found the cache quickly and signed the log.

I've thought many times of placing a cache at this mine, but always put it off. Thanks Cache-Ahead for placing one here. I didn't realize the mine was so close to the highway, I thought this would be a fairly decent hike.
