Geocaching can often be journey that involves extreme persistence and potentially a few dozen layers of clothing. The cache you see pictured above is one of the northern most geocaches in the world. It’s located where winter reigns most of the year.

Bucket List: Goal #1. Cross the equator on a ship. (check) Goal #2. Geo cache at the North Pole and FTF. (Check and found a great ice maker for my celebratory drink.) Goal #3. Geo cache the South Pole.

It was an easy find … I just followed all of the elf prints to where it was hidden.
My GPS seems to have me way off course today. Thank goodness the hint said ‘haqre ebpx’!
Flew 24 hours, hiked 8 miles, dug in the snow for 30 minutes and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!

That’s the LAST cache trail I follow in… been bushwhacking to this one all week!

This one was a breeze. Im a canadian cacher.
The coords were 3741 miles off but the hint “magnetic” helped a lot.
