Announcing a new geocaching theme park!

Okay, geocachers, we can’t keep this secret under wraps any longer. It’s simply too big (quite literally) to keep hidden. We at Geocaching HQ are excited to officially announce a project long in the making: the first-ever geocaching-themed amusement park!

Come one, come all, to the fantastic world of GeoLand!

This grand amusement park begins construction in 2024 in an undisclosed location. Featuring geocaching’s favorite mascot, Signal the Frog® and his best pal Tracker, GeoLand has every attraction that a geocacher could hope for:

The DNF Coaster

The DNF Coaster is one of GeoLand’s wildest rides! This epic roller coaster features five distinct loops that reflect the ups and downs of desperately searching for a geocache, only to log a DNF. Think you can stomach it?

Tracker’s TeaPups

Tracker’s TeaPups will be the fan favorite of all young geocachers! Around and around you go, joining Tracker the GeoPup as she chases her tail in this delightful teacup ride.

Signal’s Satellite Tour

Blast off! Head to space with Signal the Frog® as he orbits Earth alongside the GPS satellites used for geocaching. For a truly out-of-this-world experience, try going at night!

The Grand Adventure

You’ve heard of Adventure Lab®, but now it’s time to take the grandest adventure of them all with The Grand Adventure balloon ride! Soar 30 ft (9 m) up into the air, unlocking new Adventure Lab® Locations along the way. Find the answers by looking at the sites you can see from the ride!

And don’t miss out on these other great attractions:

    • Be sure to give our Cipher Carousel a spin! When the cipher lines up just right, you’ll unlock the code to find the final coordinates for a Mystery Cache in the park.
    • Low on ink? We have you covered! Locate one of our many vendor booths around the park, dedicated to providing fresh pens and other geocaching supplies.
    • Enjoy a luxurious stay at the nearby Travel Bug® Hotel. Whether you simply “Visit” or “Drop” in for a quick snooze, you can rest up here before resuming your travels.
    • Not done geocaching? No worries! Geocaches are permitted in this park. Search for one of the many caches hidden around the park that are maintained daily.
    • It’s closing time, but we’re not done yet! Join our daily closing-time CITO Event and help ensure a clean park for the next day’s guests.
    • And many more!

We are thrilled to finally share this amazing project with you all, and we can’t wait for opening day. We welcome you to join us as we cut the ribbon (and this joke) to GeoLand on April 1, 2027.

See you there!
