Can you smell it? The scent of a fresh-baked cache!

Looking for a cache that’s sure to tantalize the taste buds of even the pickiest of cachers?

DeNoppies cooked up a sweet Geocache of the Week that will leave you hungry for more.

As an experienced geocacher, you’re always looking for something out of place that others might miss—a suspicious screw, overturned stones, or a cleverly camouflaged container. But have you ever come across a cache container so odd that it can’t be overlooked?

Tucked away on a quiet corner behind a pancake restaurant, this GZ is anything but subtle. It’s an entire outdoor kitchen! You might think that finding this geocache will be a piece of cake, but a quick search of the old-fashioned milk pails and grain sacks leaves hands (and stomach) empty. That’s when you turn your attention to the oven. Decorated with the geocaching logo, this must be it!

But it’s not dinner time yet! To open the oven, you must put on your chef’s hat to solve this mouth-watering puzzle. Follow the recipe, and be careful not to let this cache burn!

Geocaching duo DeNoppies have been geocaching since 2017 and decided to start making caches after feeling inspired by other clever caches in their area. A rabbit walks into a bakery… (In Dutch “Komt een konjin bij de bakker…”) is dedicated to some geo-friends who helped them create and publish their first cache, “Mollen of Muizenplaag.”

For DeNoppies, creativity and fun are key ingredients for a successful cache.

Once I have come up with a sort of theme, I start thinking about how I can make something fun out of it… For all the nice logs, that’s what I do it for. Making someone happy and ensuring that someone has a good time.”
