Medieval Luxembourg’s Block Party
The green rolling hills, ancient castles, and dense forests of northern Luxembourg played host to the Legends of Luxembourg Block Party (GCAJM25), the largest geocaching event ever hosted in the country.
Geocachers from around Europe gathered at the Fuussekaul campground to celebrate 25 years of geocaching, explore this beautiful part of the world, make new geocaching friends, and find a ton of creative geocaches, including a gadget cache that confounded people all weekend!
This was my first big geocaching Event as a Lackey, and I was thoroughly impressed by the welcome I received from every single person I had the privilege to meet. They shared their personal geocaching stories, showed me around the Event space, and one crew even showed me how to attempt a D5/T5 climbing cache. Thank you HeBebe28, Moose61, and Repelsteeltje1975!
The organizing team planned a medieval-themed Event that featured a gorgeous set of hand-made logbooks, a campsite filled with tree spirits, and a pillory to restrain the rowdiest of attendees.

From start to finish, the Legends of Luxembourg Event was a pleasure, and I want to thank the organizers and all the attendees for making it such a special experience for me.
Geocaching HQ Lackeys attend dozens of Mega and Giga-Events around the world, shaking hands, sharing stories of adventure, and of course, geocaching! J.C. Smith, Marketing Lead at HQ, recently traveled to Luxembourg to attend the Legends of Luxembourg Block Party (GCAJM25).
