On August 20, 2022, thousands of geocachers and explorers gathered in Seattle, Washington, to celebrate over 20 years of geocaching. In the works since 2019, we could hardly contain our excitement to meet everyone and host this Event.

With the Year of the Hide fully underway, it’s time to show our appreciation to those cache owners who go above and beyond to create memorable hides for the geocaching community. One way to do this is by writing a thoughtful and kind log to achieve your smiley and let the cache owner know how much you enjoyed the experience!

As this year draws to a close, we’re looking back on the past year and all that happened in the wonderful world of geocaching. Last December, we shared an interview with the geocaching couple behind the blog and Instagram profile freeda_reist.
