After 10 years, 1 month and 8 days, I finally completed the entire 891.7km of the Bruce Trail.
April 6, 2007 (Where it all started just outside of Kelso Conservation Area)
May 14, 2017 (We made it to the end cairn in Tobermory)

Meet, greet, prepare: 9:30am - 10:00am
Hike: 10:00am - 12:30pm
Goal: To hike the last 8.1km of the Peninsula section of the Bruce Trail. The Peninsula section is a total of 165.7km in length.
**With the completion of this hike, I will have hiked the entire 891.7km of the Bruce Trail which I started on April 6, 2007. It will have taken me 10 Years, 1 Month, 8 Days and about 4 hours to hike the entire Bruce Trail.
This is the 28th and final Bruce Trail hike in this series of BT events. If you can't make the entire hike, maybe join us for part of it or just meet at the beginning to say hi and see us off.
Meet at 9:30am at the posted coordinates, which is the 157.6km mark (Edition 28 of Bruce Trail guide) of the Peninsula section of the Bruce Trail which is at a small parking lot off of Little Cove Rd (N45 14.825 W81 36.925). We plan to start hiking around 10:00am.
Destination is the 165.1km mark (Edition 28 of Bruce Trail guide) of the Peninsula section of the Bruce Trail which is along Bay St at the cairn overlooking the harbour (N45 15.310 W81 39.775).
Parking: Beginning: Small parking lot off of Little Cove Rd (N45 14.825 W81 36.925). End: There are many parking areas within the town of Tobermory. Please note that the parking spots by the cairn have a 2 hour parking limit. There is free all day parking at the Welcome Centre (N45 15.165 W81 39.820).
Hopefully some people will park at the end and carpool back to the starting point both before and after the hike. It's about a 7 minute drive from the end point to the start point.
