Geocache Description:

Fifth in the Ring Quest series

This is the fifth cache of Ring Quest, a twenty-cache series inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.

For more information about this series, see the description for the first cache:
Ring Quest I: The Nine: Black Riders.

Ring Quest V: The Nine: Úlari

In the Elvish language the Nazgûl were known as Úlari. Their many weapons included long swords of steel and flame, daggers with venomous properties, and black maces of great strength. They also had seemingly magical weapons of devastating power. They were surrounded by an aura of terror, which affected all living creatures; their "breath" (called the Black Breath) was poisonous, and their cries caused terror and despair in all who heard them. Although some of the Úlari were accomplished sorcerers who used magic to devastating effect, according to Tolkien it was the fear they inspired that was the chief danger:

"They have no great physical power against the fearless," he wrote, "but what they have, and the fear that they inspire, is enormously increased in darkness."

You are looking for a small black container, with room for small trade items. The log book contains coordinates to a nearby stone with bonus information needed to find the cache of the One Ring.

Bonus Cache Coordinate Information – Moria

For thousands of years, the Dwarf clan known as the Longbeards lived in Moria, a vast network of tunnels, chambers, mines, and huge halls that ran underneath and through the Misty Mountains.

At the coordinates printed in the log in this cache, you will see rocky mountain cliffs towering over a forest near the date, Feb J, 194K. Make a note of the values of J and K for later use finding the One Ring.
