Sixth in the Ring Quest series

This is the sixth cache of Ring Quest, a twenty-cache series inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.

Ring Quest VI: The Nine: Fell Riders

As the Nazgûl pursued Frodo across the Bruinen River on the path to Rivendell, Elrond, Lord of Rivendell, caused the river to suddenly rise and sweep the Black Riders and their horses away. The Nine returned to Mordor and later reappeared mounted on hideous flying creatures known as the fell beasts. When riding the fell beasts, they were called the Fell Riders, or sometimes Black Wings.

You are looking for a match holder. The log contains coordinates to a nearby marker with information needed to find the final cache and retrieve the One Ring.

Final Cache Coordinate Information – Through Halls of Stone to Rings

Walk through halls of stone to reach the coordinates printed on the cache log, where you’ll find a pair of interlaced rings and the date, 5-1L-5M. Record the values of L and M to use later to find the One Ring.
