Fifteenth in the Ring Quest series.


This is the fifteenth cache of Ring Quest, a twenty-cache series inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.

Ring Quest XV: The Seven: Firebeards

The Firebeards’ ancestor was among the oldest of the seven ancestors of the Dwarves. With the Broadbeams, they built the great Dwarven cities of Nogrod and Belegost in the Blue Mountains, and lived in them before their ruining in the War of Wrath.

Park near the suggested coordinates and begin by hiking west along Green Oaks for a nice walk, or park slightly closer in the neighborhood across from the cache, which entails more bushwhacking. Watch for poison ivy on the way. Along with a log book and swag, the cache contains information you will need to find the final cache of the One Ring, using letters from the Dwarvish alphabet, Khuzdûl.
