GIFF 2023: Award winners, wrap-up, and upcoming intermission

This past November, over 14,000 geocachers came together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). We celebrated the 18 GIFF Finalist films from movie theaters, garages, drive-ins, and outdoor locations across the world. Overall, it was another great reminder of what we love about geocaching and how geocaching connects us all.

GIFF 2023: Vítězové cen, shrnutí a nadcházející přestávka

Letos v listopadu se více než 14 000 kačerů sešlo na oslavě 10. výročí Mezinárodního festivalu filmů o geocachingu (GIFF). Oslavili jsme 18 finálových GIFF filmů ze sálů kin, garáží, autokin a venkovních lokací po celém světě. Celkově to byla další skvělá připomínka toho, co na geocachingu milujeme a jak nás geocaching všechny spojuje.

Hlasy byly sečteny a my s potěšením představujeme letošní ceny filmového festivalu: Signal Award – Cena žabáka Signala a People’s Choice Award – Cena diváků. Continue reading →

GIFF 2023: prijswinnaars, afronding en aankomende pauze

Afgelopen november kwamen meer dan 14.000 geocachers bij elkaar om de 10e verjaardag van het Geocaching Internationale Film Festival (GIFF) te vieren. We bekeken de 18 GIFF Finalefilms vanuit bioscopen, garages, drive-ins en buitenlocaties over de hele wereld. Al met al was het weer een mooie gelegenheid om ons eraan te herinneren waarom we van geocachen houden en hoe geocachen ons allemaal verbindt.

De stemmen zijn geteld en we presenteren de filmfestivalprijzen van dit jaar met groot enthousiasme: de Signal Award en de People’s Choice Award. Continue reading →
