Seldom do you find a geocache that requires a unique tool—even more seldom do you find a geocache that is a giant tool itself!

Hidden among the rolling farm fields of Gilby, North Dakota, a coveted multi-tool awaits your discovery and tests your patience once you locate it. Located just off a country road and within a tree line, this cache might initially seem like an easy find. A suspiciously large gray tube is attached to one of the trees, appropriately marked as a cache. However, upon opening the tube, you may be surprised to pull out an enormous multi-tool made of wood and other components.
Similar to a Swiss Army knife, this geocache is versatile with many components. Not so similar; this one can’t fit in your pocket. As you open the first few arms of the Swiss-styled geocache, a few things stand out:
- Each arm has several containers/hiding spots
- Each container is an ode to cache containers in the real world
- A high-level of craftsmanship went into creating the geocache
As you rotate each arm, you’ll see classic hides like:
- Nanos on a stop sign
- A fake log/stick
- Film canisters
- Pill bottles
- A birdhouse
- Fake gum
- Even a piece of a bench
This is a geocacher’s geocache, full of nostalgia, gadgets, and amazing skill from Trycacheus, the cache owner. Twisting all the knobs and looking into every nook and cranny might take you a minute, but geocaching prepared you for this moment, stay persistent!

This special geocache showcases expert-level mastery in creation, and any geocacher will instantly recognize how the world of geocaching is encapsulated in this.
If you’re yearning for geocaching, we’re certain this is the perfect tool to fix that problem.
