Ahoy matey! We’re excited to share information about an upcoming Treasures collection. On September 22, geocachers can start working to complete the Pirate Treasures collection. To collect these swashbuckling Treasures, cachers must find and log Mystery Caches or Multi-Caches with a difficulty rating of 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, or 4.

For 25 years, geocachers have created and shared signature items—from geocoins and wooden nickels to handmade art, stickers, and trading cards—as a way to express themselves and connect with others.
Today, we’re excited to introduce Shareables, a new subscription feature from Geocaching HQ that gives players another way to celebrate their geocaching adventures. With Shareables, players can create digital artwork, finalize it with a Shareables subscription, and share it in-game by linking Shareables to geocaches they own, gifting them through cache logs, or sending them in person through the Geocaching® mobile app (version 10.14.1+ on iOS and Android). Maker Magic events share creation and inspiration
The geocaching community was asked to host events highlighting cache creativity… and they delivered! Between April 9 and 30, hundreds of Maker Magic Events across 30 countries showcased creativity through hands-on demonstrations, educational workshops, and more. From turning trash into a Favorite point-worthy container to creating custom stamps for Letterbox Hybrid Caches, these events were truly magical.

Let’s celebrate the highlights of 2025! We’ve compiled statistics that truly showcase the geocaching community’s remarkable accomplishments this past year.
New for Premium members: All Treasure collections are now active
Premium members can now access all available Treasure collections, instead of being limited to three active collections. This makes it easier to collect the Treasure you want without switching between collections.
This update introduces two improvements that players specifically requested:
1. Premium members can set up to five priority collections to collect Treasure from first.
2. Premium members can now view which collections a cache qualifies for on cache pages on Geocaching.com.
