Geocaching Caption Contest 4 – Win a Barely Coveted Prize

Winning Caption: Wise man say, “Man with one GPS knows exactly where he is. Man with twelve GPS is never sure…” – David Krug

This is the fourth installment of our Geocaching Caption Contest. What caption would you write for this photo from the Ten years! event GC26RQJ the U.K.?  “So… you’re saying twelve GPS receivers still tell us we’re completely lost?”  You can do better.  The winner receives these barely coveted Cache In Trash Out stickers.

Barely Coveted Prize
Please include your geocaching username in all entries.  The winner will be chosen by an ad hoc committee of Lackeys.

15 Lackeys voted last week to crown the winner of the third Geocaching Caption Contest.  The winning entry was decided by just one vote!

Take a look at the post to see who won.

Good luck!

    Team Peredox

  5. You put your GPS in….You put your GPS out…. You put your GPS in and it bounces all around. You find the cachey stashy and you take your prizes out. That's what it's all about!

  8. TheWeatherWarrior:

    Geocaching…all kinds of GPS units….all kinds of people.

    Others if we can do more than one:
    Duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, CACHE!

    All this technology and none of us remembered a pen?

    Mine is bigger than yours.

    I think we need more to go for the world record.

    We really didn't all need to bring our gps did we?

  9. Dougswass: Attempting to break their dependence on Blackberries, 12 friends gather to try to figure out an interface that does not rely solely on a trackball.

  10. I just checked the cache page again for GC1BE91, the coords bring us all to the same point, but we don't see anything. Perhaps we should send Lord British a text for a better hint than “Just getting there is hard enough… good luck! 🙂 “

  11. I am sick of the ISS cache showing up in my pocket queries! I thought we had a real shot at an FTF. Sorry guys, nothing here, lets go find an LPC.

  12. TFTC
    IN: 12 GPSr. After 10 years of using an GPSr to find a cache we don't need it any more … instinct is much better 😉

  13. Before publishing the cache, I took the average coordinates of 12 different GPS models.

  14. Another from wobble34:
    “GPSr, $200;
    Geocaching premiere membership, $30;
    Caching together with friends, priceless.”

  15. The U.K. group set out to answer the unsolved riddle. “How many geocachers does it take to find a cache?”
    MlKE

  16. This is one of the photo's taken at my event by Simon Clarke of jags-images.co.uk! Thanks Simon for taking such a great photo! Nice to see others like it too!
