Three tips for caching in the rain

Autumn to winter or spring to summer, those looking to make the most of these changing seasons might need to brave some rain. Though it may sound daunting and requires a little bit more planning and preparation, geocaching in the rain can be an unforgettable experience—in a good way!

Whether it’s spring showers or rain falling with the leaves in autumn, here are three simple tips for geocaching in the rain.

1. Have the right gear
Soggy logbooks are sad enough, we don’t need a soggy human too. Protect yourself from the rain by wearing layers and packing a waterproof jacket (and even pants), plus waterproof shoes! And speaking of the gear…

2. Bring adequate TOTT (Tools of the Trade)
