Indoor Adventures for players

Intrepid Adventure creators are hard at work crafting the latest in indoor Adventure Lab experiences! Have you exhausted your local supply of Adventures? Maybe you have a big trip coming up with an afternoon to spare and want an easier way to explore the new environment. Adventure Lab remains the perfect resource for learning about your surroundings and exploring like a local— and with indoor Adventures, there are even more ways to enjoy the adventuring experience!

You might be thinking: “Buddy, I have a big trip coming up and it’s still winter where I am. I’m not sure an Adventure is what I’m looking for right now.” Did you know you can filter by “indoor” in the official Adventure Lab app?! Simply follow these instructions for guaranteed indoor Adventure success:

  • Open the Adventure Lab® app
  • Tap Filters
  • Scroll to Themes
  • Tap Indoor
  • Tap Apply

Just like that, your map will be refreshed to highlight the latest and greatest in indoor adventuring.

Now you might be thinking: “C’mon, indoors? What does that mean, at my house? Indoor where? Am I expected to pay an entry fee at a business to complete the Adventure? How is that fair?”

You’re right. That wouldn’t be fair! That’s why Adventure creators are encouraged to create Adventures in places that are accessible and free to all. The perfect alternative to traditional sightseeing options in your destination of choice. An “indoor” Adventure can be just as fun as an “outdoor” Adventure because you still get to visit a new place and engage with your surroundings to complete the Adventure.

There’s an incredible world of indoor Adventures, and no time like the present, so what are you waiting for? Remember to use #AdventureLab to share stories and celebrate your Adventure outing with others! What’s more, if you find your home doesn’t have any indoor Adventures nearby, it could be time to think about creating one of your own. 👀

*An Adventure cannot include any Locations in an area with a required entrance fee. All Adventures must follow the Adventure Lab guidelines, which state: “Adventures are free to play. You cannot require players to pay a fee for a product, service, or access.”
