We’re bringing back that magical feeling with Maker Magic, a moment of celebration and inspiration for creative cache hides. Will you host a DIY cache building workshop or lead a discussion on crafting the perfect puzzle? The magic is in your hands!

Between April 9 and 30, 2026, the geocaching community is invited to host and attend Maker Magic events to earn a special souvenir.

How to qualify as a Maker Magic event:

• The Event Cache* must fulfill all regular Event Cache guidelines.
• The Event must last at least one hour and take place between April 9-30, 2026.
• The Event must highlight cache quality and/or cache creation.
• After publication, fill out this online form by April 7, 2026, to apply for Geocaching HQ Maker Magic status.
• Once your Event is approved, you will receive a digital banner for your Event page to let players know they will receive a souvenir for attending!

*CITO Events are not eligible to be Maker Magic events.
