Don’t forget to submit your film to the Geocaching International Film Festival 2025!

Have you submitted your film for the Geocaching International Film Festival yet?

This is your final reminder to submit your short film for a chance to be featured in the 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF)!

We’re looking for creative, fun, and inspiring films that capture the spirit of geocaching — whether you prefer comedies, dramas, or sci-fi adventures, GIFF is an opportunity to share and enjoy stories (both fictional and real) about geocaching.

Need some inspiration for your film? Check out these past GIFF favorites:

1. Signal Academy – Froggy’s Dream by Rassis on Tour

2. Geocaching Documentary from Finland – Being Stealth by weellu & Harjus

This comedic mockumentary features an interview with a Finnish geocacher, offering tips and tricks for maintaining secrecy and stealth when searching for geocaches.

3. Geolove by Hoochie Coochie Man

This film tells the true story of two geocachers who met and fell in love through the game of geocaching.

4. Galaxycache by aak7

Love action movies? Galaxycache takes geocaching to the next level with a geo-adventure that’s out of this world!

5. Geocare – Home for the Aged Geocacher by chooknchunk

This film depicts a sillier side of geocaching and won the People’s Choice Award in 2023.

We hope these films gave you the encouragement you needed to submit your own film for the 2025 Geocaching International Film Festival.

Selected films will premiere at Events worldwide during the GIFF weekend, where thousands of geocachers will gather to watch and celebrate your work!
