El Día de la Tierra se vuelve digital: #EarthDay2020

Hace cincuenta años nació el Día de la Tierra con el objetivo de educar y difundir la aparición de unos cambios que transformarían nuestro medioambiente y nuestro planeta. Conforme nos preparamos para celebrar su 50 aniversario el 22 de abril, probablemente os preguntaréis cómo podéis celebrarlo este año.

Como normalmente celebramos el Día de la Tierra proponiendo un reto (encontrar un Earthcache o asistir a un CITO) pero es probable que en estos momentos no se pueda… ¿Qué van a hacer los geocachers?

Dag van de Aarde gaat digitaal: #EarthDay2020

Vijftig jaar geleden begon de Dag van de Aarde als een educatieve mogelijkheid om de boodschap te verkondigen over een omvormende verandering voor ons milieu en de planeet. Terwijl we ons voorbereiden op de 50e verjaardag op 22 april, vraag je je misschien af hoe we dit jaar de Dag van de Aarde kunnen vieren.

Onze normale manieren om de Dag van de Aarde te vieren zijn op dit moment een uitdaging voor velen – het vinden van een EarthCache of bezoeken van een CITO is op dit moment misschien niet mogelijk – dus wat kan een geocacher doen?

This Geocache of the Week is a rare breed. Cachers will find the cache in question, Le Tchien Bodu GC21T4K, on the island of Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands located off the coast of France. At first glance it may seem like just a Letterbox Hybrid on the Guernsey coastline, but geocachers who dare to search for this one will be rewarded with multiple stages taking them off the beaten path, bringing them a unique view of the island and the satisfaction of another find.
