Meeting Friends returned to Frauenfeld for its fourth iteration. This time, it had a new event location, and a new icon. Inspired by the 2023 announcement that Event hosts could choose between the Mega-Event or Block-Party icon, the team behind Meeting Friends decided to revive this beloved Event. Within four days of the Event’s publication (GCAJRTR), 600 “will attend” logs had been posted. Meeting Friends Block Party 2025: het vieren van geocaching in Zwitserland
Meeting Friends keerde terug naar Frauenfeld voor zijn vierde editie. Deze keer met een nieuwe eventlocatie en een nieuw icoon. Geïnspireerd door de aankondiging uit 2023 dat eventorganisatoren konden kiezen tussen het Mega-event- of Block Party-icoon, besloot het team achter Meeting Friends dit geliefde event nieuw leven in te blazen. Binnen 4 dagen na publicatie waren er al 600 “Zal aanwezig zijn”-logs op het event (GCAJRTR) geplaatst. Vanwege het verwachte aantal bezoekers besloot het organisatieteam mee te bewegen en boekten ze de historische Festhalle Rüegerholz. Continue reading →
Meeting Friends Block Party 2025 : Célébration du geocaching en Suisse
Meeting Friends est revenu à Frauenfeld pour sa quatrième édition. Cette fois, c’était à un autre emplacement, et avec une nouvelle icône. Inspirée par l’annonce de 2023 selon laquelle les organisateurs d’Events pouvaient choisir entre l’icône Méga-Event ou Block-Party, l’équipe de Meeting Friends a décidé de faire revivre cet Event bien-aimé. Quatre jours après la publication de l’Event (GCAJRTR), il y avait déjà 600 “will attend”. Compte tenu du nombre de participants attendus, l’équipe organisatrice a décidé de changer de lieu et a réservé l’historique Festhalle Rüegerholz. Continue reading →

El Meeting Friends volvió a Frauenfeld en su cuarta edición. Esta vez, tenía una nueva ubicación para el evento y un nuevo icono. Inspirado por el anuncio de 2023 de que los organizadores de eventos podrían elegir entre el icono de megaevento o el de Block Party, el equipo detrás de Meeting Friends decidió revivir este querido evento. A los cuatro días de la publicación del Evento (GCAJRTR), se habían publicado 600 registros de «asistiré». Dado el número de asistentes previsto, el equipo organizador decidió dar un giro y reservó el histórico Festhalle Rüegerholz. Continue reading →
Meeting Friends Block Party 2025: Geocaching in der Schweiz feiern
Zum vierten Mal gab es wieder Meeting Friends in Frauenfeld. Dieses Mal gab es einen neuen Event-Standort und ein neues Icon. Inspiriert von der Ankündigung 2023, dass Event-Organisatoren zwischen Mega-Event- und Block-Party-Icons wählen können, hat sich das Orga-Team hinter Meeting Friends dazu entschlossen, dieses beliebte Event wieder aufleben zu lassen. Innerhalb von vier Tagen seit der Veröffentlichung des Events (GCAJRTR) wurden bereits 600 “werde teilnehmen” Logs angemeldet. Aufgrund der zu erwartenden Teilnehmerzahl hat sich das Orga-Team entschlossen, zu reagieren und buchte die historische Festhalle Rüegerholz. Continue reading →
