🧗 In geocaching, T5 refers to Terrain 5, the highest terrain rating, indicating a cache that requires specialized equipment or advanced skills to reach. These caches may involve climbing, boating, swimming, or technical rope work.

A chain is pulled out, and a bison tube is attached. In the third video, a geocacher pulls a stump out of the leaves on the ground. A geocache hangs at the bottom of the stump. In the fourth clip, a geocache is placed in a hole at the base of a stump. A geocacher places the stump on the ground with some leaves next to some branches. In the last video, a geocacher is standing next to a tree with a birdhouse attached to it. The geocacher appears to be pushing a button at the bottom of the birdhouse, and a geocache pops out of the top of the birdhouse.

What’s your number 1 tip for geocaching in snowy conditions? 🕵️

Video by geosanity68.

Video: In the first clip, we see a geocacher place a logsheet into a hole in a log. They screw the cap on, lift the cache, and carefully place it into a tree. On-screen text reads: “Snow became the ultimate camouflage.” In the second video, a geocacher picks up a small snow-covered stump from the ground. As they lift it, a geocache container attached underneath is revealed, and they replace the geocache. In the third clip, a geocache container attached to a stump is shown, a geocacher smoothly slides it into its hiding spot. In the final video, a dog stands beside a geocache hidden inside a log cut in half that opens like a book. After closing it, the geocacher places it at the base of a tree.

Video: A geocacher approaches a metal sign in a coastal park. On the front of the sign is a metal emblem cut to resemble the outline of an island. The geocacher grabs the edge of the emblem and twists it counterclockwise, which opens a metal door on the other side of the sign. The geocacher opens the door to reveal a plastic cache container nested inside.

Video: A geocacher stands in the woods next to a cluster of thin trees. Tied to one of the trees is a wooden box with the geocaching logo. The cacher unlocks the front of the box and removes a metal chain and a magnet. To the right of the box is a flexible plastic tube tied to another tree and decorated like a snake. They move the magnet along the length of the tube to the snake’s mouth, revealing a magnetic geocache container.
