New Treasures coming soon!

Get ready—May is shaping up to be a memorable month for geocachers! We’re excited to celebrate Blue Switch Day, the 25th anniversary of geocaching, and the arrival of two new Treasure collections.

Two new collections, Classic trackables and Mystery books, will be available starting May 6 at 12:00 PM UTC. To start collecting Treasure from the Classic trackables collection, geocachers must first complete the Celebrating 25 years collection. Episode 71: Treasures with Bryan Roth

As we kick off geocaching’s 25th year, Geocaching HQ is excited to announce a new feature called Treasures. Starting in spring 2025, digital Treasures will be a collectible game feature. Geocachers can collect these digital items by finding and logging caches that meet specific criteria set by HQ for each Treasure collection.
