Original Stash Road Trip

This coming weekend marks the 20th anniversary of May 2, 2000, also known as Blue Switch Day, the day that made geocaching possible. It is also the 20th anniversary of the day the first geocache was placed, May 3, 2000.

In December 2019 a group of Lackeys took a road trip to Oregon to visit the place where that first geocache was placed on May 3, 2000. Though the original geocache there is gone, a commemorative geocache and plaque exist there now in its place. The Lackeys made sure to add a video camera to their packing list so they could document their trip to the place where it all started.
