The adventure begins at the posted trailhead coordinates, N 22° 16.280, E 114° 08.969. Put on some sturdy shoes, as the cache is still 0.62 miles (1 km) away, and vehicles are prohibited. Once you’ve gathered your belongings, head north on the path. Surrounded by lush trees, the hustle and bustle of city life fades into the background.
The trail meanders along the peak’s slopes, unveiling stunning views of the city skyline to the right. With each twist and turn, a new postcard-worthy scene unfolds, captivating the senses and immersing you deeper into the beauty of this urban oasis.
Continue down the path, and soon the destination becomes visible—a lookout with the most incredible view yet. Non-geocachers abound, but don’t give up! You are within ~10 feet (3 m) of the geocache, so it is time to put down your device and begin the search! With the metal railings around, there’s a good chance that this one will be magnetic. After a few minutes of checking the nooks and crannies, the cache reveals itself!
As you sign the log, take in the amazing view promised by the geocache’s name. This place is like nowhere else in the world. Once the cache is safely in its hiding place, snap a selfie to remember this fantastic find. As you continue along The Peak Circle Walk, the view from GC1JJ1E sticks with you as a memory that will not be forgotten.
