Excitement is building as we approach the 25th anniversary of geocaching in 2025. One of the ways the geocaching community is celebrating the big milestone is by hosting Block Parties around the world.

Things to know about reviewers

When a new geocache is submitted for publication on Geocaching.com, it is reviewed by one of nearly 300 people around the world who volunteer their time on behalf of the global community. Community volunteer reviewers’ contribution to the game of geocaching is invaluable! Geocaching as inspiration for art: An interview with pipiruby

Recent visitors to the Korea Comics Museum in Bucheon, South Korea have enjoyed a creative introduction to geocaching, thanks to user pipiruby (Ruby), who was one of just six artists chosen from a hundred entrants to participate in the “Colorful Diversity Cartoons” exhibit.

Ruby has found over 80 caches and hidden five of her own since discovering geocaching a few years ago. We asked about her new hobby and how she shared it with others by way of her art.
