Voor veel mensen is het klimmen in bomen een hobby uit hun jeugd die minder aantrekkelijk wordt naarmate ze ouder worden (en meer risico’s zien). Bij mij gebeurde het omgekeerde. Ik (Rock Chalk) groeide op in een gebied zonder hoge bomen, dus ik speelde spelletjes die me met beide benen op de grond hielden. Als volwassene ontdekte ik geocachen en de uitdaging om iets nieuws te proberen: boomklimcaches.

Superando obstáculos (altos)
Para muchas personas, la escalada de árboles es un pasatiempo infantil que se vuelve menos atractivo a medida que envejecen (y son más reacios al riesgo). A mi (Rock Chalk) me ocurrió lo contrario. Crecí en una zona sin grandes árboles y jugaba a juegos que mantenían mis pies en el suelo. Ya como adulto descubrí el geocaching y la emoción de probar algo nuevo: los cachés en lo alto de árboles.
