Uitgelicht vanuit de gemeenschap: Hoe een geocacher haar gezondheidsdoelen bereikte

Maak kennis met Sheila Withrow oftewel Cazador66. Nadat ze 25 jaar had gewerkt als manager van het Public Health Protection Program van de Northern Health Authority in Brits-Columbia, Canada, is ze kort geleden met pensioen gegaan en verhuisd naar de zuidelijk gelegen regio Okanagan, waar het klimaat milder is en veel buitenactiviteiten, zoals geocachen, mogelijk zijn.

Geocachen heeft Sheila geholpen een actieve leefstijl te omarmen en haar gezondheidsdoelen te bereiken, dus we hebben een gesprek met haar gehad om meer te weten te komen over hoe geocachen haar motivatie om haar gezondheidsdoelen te bereiken heeft vernieuwd.

Destacado de la comunidad: Cómo una geocacher alcanzó sus objetivos de salud

Te presentamos a Sheila Withrow, también conocida como Cazador66. Después de trabajar como directora del Programa de Protección de Salud Pública en la Autoridad Sanitaria del Norte en la Columbia Británica (Canadá) durante 25 aaños, se ha jubilado recientemente y se ha trasladado a la segíon de Okanagan, situada al sur, donde el clima es más suave y permite muchísimas actividades al aire libre, como el geocaching.

El geocaching ha ayudado a Sheila a adquirir un estilo de vida activo, y conseguir sus objetivos de salud, así que hemos charlado con ella para saber más acerca de cómo el geocaching ha renovado sus motivaciones para alcanzar sus metas.

Rencontrez Sheila Withrow alias Cazador66. Après avoir exercé le métier de responsable du programme de protection de santé publique pour les services de santé du nord de la Colombie Britanique, au Canada, pendant 25 ans, elle a récemment pris sa retraite et a déménagé dans le sud de la région Okanagan, là où le climat est plus doux et permet de faire de nombreuses activités en extérieur, comme le géocaching.

Le géocaching a aidé Sheila à maintenir une vie active et à atteindre ses objectifs de bien-être, donc nous avons échangé avec elle pour apprendre comment le géocaching l’a remotivée à rester en forme.

Community Spotlight: Wie ein Geocacherin ihre Gesundheitsziele erreicht hat

Das ist Sheila Withrow aka Cazador66. Nachdem sie 25 Jahre lang als Managerin des Public Health Protection Program für die Northern Health Authority in British Columbia, Kanada, tätig war, hat sie sich kürzlich zur Ruhe gesetzt und ist in die südliche Region Okanagan umgezogen, wo das Klima milder ist und viele Outdoor-Aktivitäten, wie beispielsweise Geocaching, ermöglicht.
