Do you ever feel like you are searching for the proverbial needle in a haystack? You know the geocache is just right there and yet you have no logbook to show for your efforts. So close to giving up, you make one final search and there it is! The elusive geocache and logbook are found. Our Geocache of the Week, The First in Wales (GC2BA), presents this challenge to cachers who journey to the moorlands of Wales to find this historic cache.

For this hide, cachers will need to step into the role of a clever covert operative as they work to get the final coordinates for the two-stage Multi-Cache.

As we look back on twenty years of geocaching history, we decided to revisit some of our favorite Geocaches of the Week from years past.

This week we’re setting our time machines to December 2011 when we awarded the honor of Geocache of the Week to Table Top Trove (GCMYYZ). Even in 2011 this cache had already made quite a name for itself as one of the most visited caches in South Africa. Almost 9 years later, the cache continues to impress with over 100 Favorite points and more than 2000 finds. This cache also stands out from the crowd because of how long it has been in the game. This past February marked 15 years since it was placed!
