Premium member exclusive: the first puzzle Treasure collection and a new souvenir

A new Treasure collection is now available for Premium members, and it’s a little different from previous collections—it’s a puzzle! Each Treasure in the River expedition puzzle collection is a puzzle piece. Complete the collection to complete the puzzle and earn a souvenir. The puzzle has 16 pieces, and each piece has unique criteria based on difficulty and terrain ratings.

Treasures has a new look!

We’re excited to share a new look and updated functionality for Treasures!

In player feedback about Treasures, one request stood out: geocachers want more control over which Treasures they collect when they log geocaches that qualify for multiple collections. We listened and updated Treasures to give geocachers this control. Now, cachers can choose a collection to work on, guaranteeing they collect the Treasure they want.

As we kick off geocaching’s 25th year, Geocaching HQ is excited to announce a new feature called Treasures. Starting in spring 2025, digital Treasures will be a collectible game feature. Geocachers can collect these digital items by finding and logging caches that meet specific criteria set by HQ for each Treasure collection.
