Cache Hiding Themes—January: books and libraries

You shared, and we listened!

We received a library’s-worth of submissions for 2024’s first cache hiding theme. We asked you to share your favorite book and library-themed caches for January, and you showed up with some “novel” hides!

Though we’d love to share all the submissions, we’d end up with an entire book instead of a blog post, and our editors said the world wasn’t ready for that yet. So instead, we picked a few of our favorites!

Check out these beloved bibliographic cache hides in no particular order (and then maybe check out a book from the library for the sake of the theme):

We don’t have enough words to express how much we love these library caches! Though we can only share a handful, countless others are out there. Thank you to all the hardworking cache owners who hit the books to hide something unforgettable for the geocaching community.

Don’t forget: next month’s theme is birdhouses! Submit your favorite birdhouse-themed cache by filling out this form.

We look forward to seeing the cache creations you come up with—let your imagination soar!
