Sans le Géocaching, je n’aurais jamais…

Le géocaching est bien plus qu’une simple chasse au trésor. Notre passe temps préféré nous apporte quelque chose à toutes et à tous, et nous profitons de bien plus que de trouver simplement une boite dans les bois. Pour beaucoup, le géocaching est un élément important de la vie sociale et familiale. C’est même parfois la partie majeure de leur développement personnel. En tant que communauté, nous partageons nos savoirs avec les autres, mais nous apprenons aussi beaucoup et dépassons nos limites et nos peurs.

Etes-vous plutôt maître ou élève ? Peut-être un mix des deux ?

Without Geocaching I would have never…

Geocaching is so much more than a treasure hunt. Our brilliant hobby offers something for everybody and we all benefit from so much more than finding the treasure of a cache container. For many, geocaching is a key part of their social and family life. It is even a large part in their personal development. As a community we teach others, yet we also learn and overcome some of our fears.

Are you a teacher or are you a student? Perhaps you are a mix of both?

Schnappschüsse von der Ostsee

Geocacher sind von Natur aus Schatzsucher und reisen gerne. Deshalb war Tallink Silja der perfekte Partner für uns. Geocacher in Deutschland wurden von April bis August 2019 mit ins Boot geholt, um an einer Schatzsuche in der Ostsee teilzunehmen. Sie wurden aufgefordert Schiff-Trackables von Tallink Silja auf die Reise zu schicken und Fotos mit dem Hashtag #Ostseeschatz in den sozialen Medien zu teilen.

Lackey Trip Report: Going Caching 2019

Geocaching HQ staff will attend dozens of Mega and Giga-Events around the world, shaking hands, sharing stories of adventure, and of course, geocaching! bootron is the Director of Engineering at Geocaching HQ. He recently traveled to Georgia to attend the Going Caching 2019 Mega-Event (GC82VHK). Here is his trip recap.

“Since you said you plan to come early to Going Caching so as not to miss anything; Jim and I have a question. This year we’re having cachers register onto ships like they are the crew of that ship. We have seven different ships, all captains by pirates whose names start with “C”, hence the Seven “C”s. We would love it if you would entertain the idea of being one of the Captains! You would get to lead your ship crew in the Pirate Parade Thursday night annnd you would get to be in the Friday night show!”

El GIFF 2019 es del 7 al 17 de noviembre de 2019. Encuentra un evento GIFF cercano y registra tu Asistiré. O prueba a organizar uno si no hay eventos cerca. ¡Solo asegúrate de enviar tu evento antes del 24 de octubre de 2019 para que tenga tiempo de ser publicado en Geocaching.com!
