Today we would like to introduce you to Signal’s best friend and favorite geocaching partner!
On August 20, 2022, thousands of geocachers and explorers gathered in Seattle, Washington, to celebrate over 20 years of geocaching. In the works since 2019, we could hardly contain our excitement to meet everyone and host this Event.
We’re immeasurably thankful to the global geocaching community for making this possible. For those who couldn’t attend, here’s how the day’s activities unfolded:
Fukagawa is a historic neighborhood in eastern Tokyo with a lot to offer. Travelers could spend a whole day there seeing impressive temples, visiting a museum about Japan’s Edo period, walking through spacious public parks, and enjoying views of the Sumida River. One of the many great things about geocaching is that it is a game that’s easy to pair with other activities. If you love puzzles, you can become a Mystery Cache expert. If you’re a social butterfly, you can host and attend Event Caches. If you love scaling rock faces and swinging on tree branches, there are caches for that too. A quick search for geocaches with the “Difficult climb” and “Climbing gear required” attributes reveals a special subset of caches that are sure to thrill any climbing cacher.
