This week, July 31-August 6, work with your crew to collect 35 gold coins on the Friend League and earn the next map piece souvenir! This week, earn 10 points for finding and logging a Multi-cache.
From July 31 to August 9 at noon UTC only, we’re opening up all Multi-caches, excluding Premium only, in the Geocaching® app to all members!
Are Multi-caches new to you? These are caches with at least one stage in addition to the physical container. Cachers travel to the first posted coordinates where they’ll gather more information to lead them to the next stage! Check out this post to learn how to find a Multi-cache.
Week 3 point values:
Find and log a Multi-cache = 10 gold coins.
Find and log a geocache = 5 gold coins.
Find and log a geocache with 10 or more Favorite points = 7 gold coins.
Attend and log an event cache = 7 gold coins.
Retrieve a trackable from a cache = 3 gold coins.
Drop a trackable into a cache = 4 gold coins.
Before you go off to earn your next souvenir, be sure to log the caches you found last week from both far and near! Log your finds by Tuesday in order to be sure you’ll receive last week’s second map piece souvenir.
To earn this week’s souvenir you must contribute at least 5 gold coins towards your crew’s total. The Friend League will refresh every Monday at 5am (PDT), Noon (UTC). This week’s souvenir will be awarded to your profile on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
