Over 2,100 CITO Events have occurred this season in more than 62 countries! Over 15,700 geocachers collaborated to work towards the common goal of cleaning up their communities and the world through CITO Events. Without every one of you, this would not have been possible, so thank you! 💚
Let’s look at some highlights of CITO 2025 Season 2!
Lake Brombach’s shore in Germany is a perfect location for classic beach activities like building sandcastles, stacking stone towers, and drawing smiley faces in the sand. And, of course, it’s also a great spot for geocaching.
Hidden not far from the sand beaches is a geocache masterpiece just waiting for the next geocacher to find.
As 2025 winds down, it’s time to look ahead to a brand-new year of geocaching adventures. Whether you’re planning a big caching outing in January or eyeing your next milestone, now’s the perfect time to start mapping out your goals—and your calendar.
Premium members can now access all available Treasure collections, instead of being limited to three active collections. This makes it easier to collect the Treasure you want without switching between collections.
This update introduces two improvements that players specifically requested:
1. Premium members can set up to five priority collections to collect Treasure from first.
2. Premium members can now view which collections a cache qualifies for on cache pages on Geocaching.com.
