Art comes in many different forms. It’s the shine of fresh ink on a logbook. It’s the sunset over the horizon after a whole evening of night caching. It’s remembering that you have a pen in the car when you thought all hope was lost.

Geocachers know better than anyone that art can be found in the most unlikely places. There’s something beautiful about the art of exploring just for the sake of exploring, and hoping to chance upon something extraordinary in the midst of everyday life.

Cache Hiding Themes—February: birdhouses

A little birdie told us that this month’s cache hiding theme is birdhouses—and the geocaching community delivered!

These cache hiders really let their ideas soar with these im-peck-able hides, all while staying within the geocache hiding guidelines! While we love our brilliant birdhouse caches, remember that they should not be attached to a tree with hardware unless explicit permission has been provided by the property owner.
